Becca Horwitz, organizer for Planned Parenthood, appreciated the buffer ordinance. Anticipate massive influx of patients in San Mateo because of potential overturn of Roe v. Wade and the City should expect more protestors. Seema Patel stated the importance of trauma free access to health providers and inquired how we can communicate to people where the 100’ buffer is. Susan Burns, neighbor, stated the harassment is escalating and noted there are anti-abortion signs plastered on all the telephone poles and light poles on the street.
