STUDY SESSION
1. Process for Filling a City Council Vacancy
City Clerk Patrice Olds provided a brief overview of the history of Council vacancies and outlined the process options available for the City Council to choose from. Council asked questions of staff.
Public Comment - Asking for the District of the applicant to be listed on the application: Marena Godfrey; Stu Bruins; Elian Dumitru; Peter Yeatrakas; Karen Moen; Tom Barrett; Rick Sakuda; and Sandy Backman.
Michael Ragan requested Rod Linhares be considered for City Council. Michele Brown urged District 4 representation.
Council asked additional questions and provided direction to do an application and presentation process.
