CALL TO ORDER at 9:00 a.m.

STUDY SESSION
1. City Council “Blue Sky” Goal Setting Workshop
Mayor Lee welcomed everyone; outlined the purpose of the day; and reiterated the process. City Manager Corbett provided additional context noting the priorities under discussion today are for fiscal year 2023-24 and he introduced the Facilitator Tim Dunkin.
Public Comment – Public Comment – Max Mautner Move San Mateo; Ted McKinnon; Karyl Eldridge; Mareva Godfrey; Lila Kanda; Dave Cohen; Ellen Wang; Owen Day; Rick Cooley; Moises Villeda; Angelina Soldatos; Thomas Morgan; Michael Ragan; Megan Strain; Sofia Morgan; Karen Moen; Karim Sarraf; Rafael Reyes; Rick Bonilla; Laurie Hietter; Nancy Schneider; Ruthmary Cradler; Andrew Reback; Sarah Hubbard; Rick Sakuda; Kay Funk; and Laurie Watanuki.
Facilitator Dunkin reviewed progress on current year, 2022-23, priorities and sought consensus on which ones could be removed and which ones should be retained from the list. Council reviewed proposed new objectives and winnowed down the list. Council took a break from 12:00 to 12:30 pm for lunch. Discussion ensued after lunch and staff responded to questions raised.
