Dear City Council and Manager,
RE: Item on upcoming City Agenda: Laptop purchase for SMPD
Is there any way to get this cost down for 56 laptops? What's going to happen to the old laptops? I went to the CDW-G website and found that the Panasonic toughbook is now on sale, so 56 laptops= $186,613.28. (Unless there is an upgrade not mentioned??)
Maybe renegotiate with the vendor to match this current price.
