Senior Citizens Commission Appointment Subcommittee – Appointment Recommendation RECOMMENDATION:
Appoint to the Senior Citizens Commission: Anna Cwirko-Godycki for a partial term from February 5, 2024, through June 10, 2027; Karl Lorenz for a full term commencing on June 10, 2024; and place Alison Joly and Nancy Morioka-Douglas on an eligibility list for future vacancies for a period of one year.
BACKGROUND:
On January 24, 2024, the Appointment Subcommittee, consisting of Mayor Lisa Diaz Nash and Council Member Amourence Lee, interviewed applicants to fill the vacancy on the Senior Citizens Commission. Parks and Recreation Director, Joanne Magrini, and Community Services Section Manager, Stephanie Douglas also attended the interviews in an advisory capacity.
The Appointment Subcommittee interviewed the following applicants:
•Anna Cwirko-Godycki
•Nancy Morioka-Douglas
•Karl Lorenz
•Alison Joly
The Appointment Subcommittee recommends the following appointments:

There is no budget impact associated with this administrative action.
