AMENDMENT OF THE COMMERCIAL PROPERTY LEASE
AGREEMENT AND OPERATING AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MATEO AND
THE SAN MATEO PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the City of San Mateo (“City”), a municipal corporation of the State of California, and the San Mateo Public Library Foundation, a California non-profit corporation (“Foundation”), entered into a Commercial Property Lease Agreement and Operating Agreement for space at the San Mateo Main Library (“Lease”) on December 14, 2007;
WHEREAS, the lease was previously extended from December 14, 2008 through March 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the City and Foundation wish to amend the Lease to extend its term for one year;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
1. Paragraph 1 of the Lease is amended to read:
“The term of this Lease shall be extended through March 31, 2025, unless terminated pursuant to Paragraph 20.”
2. The remaining terms of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
