You are hereby directed to make the herein described changes from the plans and specifications or do the following described work not included in the plans and specifications on your contract.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Following is a description of work to be done, estimate of quantities, and prices to be paid.
The Original Agreement for renting of the 1000 kW temporary emergency standby generator at Dale Avenue Pump Station (DAPS) was signed with HercRentals on October 10, 2022. This rental agreement was for a period from September 16, 2022 through June 16, 2023.
Subsequently, CCO No. 1 was issued on August 7, 2023 for the supply of additional length of cables associated with relocation of the generator and for extending the rental period from June 16 through September 2023. Subsequent CCO No. 2 issued on August 29, 2023 extended the generator rental period through January 2024 and CCO No. 3 issued on February 16, 2024 further extended the rental period through April 31, 2024.
This Contract Change Order includes an extension of the temporary 1000 kW emergency standby generator rental for additional three (3) months from May 1, 2024 through July 31, 2024. The total cost of this extended rental period is $66,565.48 as per the attached quote from HercRentals.
Total cost of change not to exceed: $66,565.48
We, the undersigned contractor, have given careful consideration to the change proposed and hereby agree, if this proposal is approved, that we will provide all equipment, furnish all materials, except as may otherwise be noted above, and perform all services necessary for the work above specified, and will accept as full payment therefore the prices shown above.
By reason of this proposed change, extension of time through July 31, 2024 will be allowed.
