City Council 2025 Regular Meeting Calendar — Adoption
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt the City Council Regular Meeting schedule for the calendar year 2025.
BACKGROUND:
Each year, staff presents the City Council with a proposed calendar for regular meetings for the upcoming year. In accordance with the City Charter, regular City Council meetings are typically held on the first and third Mondays of each month, with exceptions for holidays. In July, August, and December, only one regular meeting is scheduled.
For 2025, the first meeting in January has been moved to accommodate the 2024 holiday period. Additionally, the second meeting in September has been rescheduled to September 22nd to observe Rosh Hashanah.
BUDGET IMPACT:
There is no budgetary impact associated with this item.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION:
This action is not a project subject to CEQA, because it is an organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment. (CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5).)
