CALL TO ORDER at 7: 30 p. m.
Roll Call
Present: Mayor Newsom, Deputy Mayor Loraine, Council Members: Fernandez, Cwirko- Godycki, and Diaz Nash AB 2449 Requests and Considerations for Meeting Participation by Teleconference due to Just Cause or Emergency Circumstances – there were no requests.
NEW BUSINESS
1. City Council Resolution of No Confidence Position in Sheriff Christina Corpus and Call for Resignation – Adoption Council Member Cwirko- Godycki presented a proposed resolution expressing a position of no confidence in San Mateo County Sheriff Christina Corpus and calling for her resignation.
Public Comment: Mike Nash, Eliot Storch, Vanessa Lemus Tapia, Rich Hedges, Hector Acosta, Julie Lind, and Gina Papan spoke in support of the resolution. Dave Cohen requested a strong code of conduct. Dan Stegink spoke in opposition to passing the resolution. Motion carried 5- 0.

Ayes: Newsom, Loraine, Fernandez, Cwirko- Godycki, and Diaz Nash Noes: None
Enactment: Resolution No. 12 ( 2025)
