AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MATEO AND
QUALITY STRIPING, INC. FOR
THERMOPLASTIC, PAINTING, AND MARKING SERVICES
($90,000.00 [Original Amount]; $230,000.00 [Amendment No. 1]) This Amendment is made and entered into this day of ______________ by and between the CITY OF SAN MATEO, a municipal corporation existing under the laws of the State of California ("CITY"), and Quality Striping, Inc. ("CONTRACTOR").
WHEREAS, on October 21, 2024, CITY and CONTRACTOR entered into an Agreement for thermoplastic, painting, and marking services; and
WHEREAS, CITY and CONTRACTOR wish to amend the Agreement effective upon execution of this Amendment to increase the Agreement amount by $230,000, for a new total Agreement amount of $320,000, update the payment rates, and to extend the term of the Agreement to June 30, 2026.
NOW
, THEREFORE, the Parties agree as follows:
1. Sect
ion 4 – “Term” of the Agreement is amended to read:
“The s
ervices to be performed under this Agreement shall commence on the date of execution of the Agreement and be completed on June 30, 2026.”
2. Sect
ion 5 – “Payment” of the Agreement is amended to read:
“Payme
nt shall be made by CITY only for services rendered and upon submission of a payment request upon completion and CITY approval of the work performed. In consideration for the full performance of the services set forth in Exhibit A, CITY agrees to pay CONTRACTOR in an amount not to exceed $320,000, a fee pursuant to rates stated in Exhibit B-1, attached and incorporated by reference.”
3. Exhi
bit B is hereby replaced with Exhibit B-1, attached and incorporated by reference.
4. The
remaining terms of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. [SIG
