CALL TO ORDER at 6:00 p.m.

Present: Mayor Newsom, Deputy Mayor Loraine, Council Members: Fernandez and Cwirko-Godycki AB 2449 Requests and Considerations for Meeting Participation by Teleconference due to Just Cause or Emergency Circumstances – there were no requests.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Park and Recreation Commissioner – Interviews
The Appointment Subcommittee to the Park and Recreation Commission, consisting of Mayor Newsom, and Council Members Fernandez and Cwirko-Godycki, with Parks and Recreation Director Joanne Magrini advising. The Subcommittee interviewed the following applicants to fill two regular seats on the commission, one youth commissioner seat on the commission, and the establish an eligibility list for a future vacancies.

The appointment subcommittee deliberated and concluded with the following recommendations: Sarah Fields and Sabrina Ocampo be appointed to a full term from June 10, 2025 through June 10, 2029; Ceclia Teng and Andrew City Council Special Meeting Minutes – 5/27/2025 Page 2 6 1

Ryan be placed on a six-month eligibility list; and Dahlia Anapolsky be appointed as a Youth Commissioner for a one-year term.
