Seema Patel supports the ban but voiced concerns about enforcement and who to hold responsible. Mike Swire urges quick action, highlights health and noise issues, and calls for effective enforcement.

Council directed staff to develop an ordinance prohibiting gas- powered leaf blowers, beginning enforcement nine months after adoption with the option for enforcement to apply to property owners, business owners, and leaf blower operators. Staff was directed to bring back leaf blower hours of operation alternatives with different hours of operation in different zoning districts.
