3 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA, HEREBY RESOLVES that:

1. The purchase of one (1) new 2022 Workhorse W4CC Utility Body Electric Truck is not a project subject to CEQA, because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the purchase of an electric utility body truck to support the maintenance of irrigation systems may have a significant effect on the environment. a. Sourcewell is a government organization that solicits, receives, and reviews competitive bids for various specialty equipment; and
b. The 2022 Workhorse W4CC Utility Body Electric Truck is the City’s Park and Recreation Departments desired vehicle because it meets the standards required and meets the City’s transition to a green fleet; and
c. Sourcewell competitively bid the contracts to provide the 2022 Workhorse W4CC Utility Body Electric Truck and Terricorp Inc. dba Kingsburg Truck Center was selected pursuant to Sourcewell – Contract # 032824-WKH; and
d. The City may rely on Sourcewell’s selected vendor and contract, as it offers competitive pricing without the need for the City to conduct its own bidding process.
