City Council 2026 Regular Meeting Calendar — Amendment
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt an amendment to the City Council Regular Meeting schedule for the calendar year 2026 to move the first meeting in October to Monday, October 5, 2026.
BACKGROUND:
On October 6, 2025, the City Council adopted a proposed calendar of regular meetings for calendar year 2026. As part of that action, the first October meeting was scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, due to an anticipated holiday conflict.
Since that time, the conflict has been resolved. Accordingly, staff is recommending that the October meetings return to the City Council’s standard meeting schedule of the first and third Monday of the month.
BUDGET IMPACT:
There is no budgetary impact associated with this administrative item.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION:
This action is not a project subject to CEQA, because it is an organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment. (CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5).)
NOTICE PROVIDED
