I hope this message finds you well,

2 My husband and I , along with my two small children, live on where the new housing developments on O'Farrell and 20th Ave, along with Carey school preschool, are currently planned or underway. I wanted to reach out proactively to share a few thoughts and express my interest in working collaboratively with the City as these projects move forward.

I fully understand and support the need for thoughtful growth and housing in our community. At the same time, given that 20th Avenue is already a busy street, I would love to explore whether additional safety and privacy measures have been considered / could be considered alongside the new development to benefit both current residents and future neighbors.

In particular, I wanted to suggest a few ideas for consideration:
 Widening the sidewalk to improve walkability and pedestrian safety  Adding street trees or landscaping to provide privacy, shade, and traffic calming  Evaluating traffic-calming measures such as stop signs, medians, or other tools to help manage vehicle speeds and improve overall safety
My hope is to work with the City in a positive, cooperative way to ensure that these changes enhance the livability, safety, and long-term success of the neighborhood for everyone.

Thank you so much for your time,
Danielle Giovannetti

4 Hello,

The attached photos show the weak link in the Carey drop off/ pick up system.

Per SMPD , the signs are unenforceable. Carey has been lucky they have been respected . As the population density increases I am predicting their luck will run out.

Another problem would be the agreement to use parking at the business park across ADP. Contact the Temple which had a similar agreement. When they did their expansion and removed parking, the agreement ended.

I am sending this EM since neighbors were unable to speak at the last meeting.

There will also be a loss of housing .

We remain opposed to the project .
