0 AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MATEO AND
SERRA YELLOW CAB OF DALY CITY INC., FOR
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR SENIOR “GET AROUND” PROGRAM This Amendment No. 1 is made and entered into this day of February ______, 2026 by and between the CITY OF SAN MATEO, a municipal corporation existing under the laws of the State of California ("CITY"), and Serra Yellow Cab of Daly City, Inc. ("CONTRACTOR").
WHEREAS, City and Contractor entered into an Agreement for Transportation Services for Senior “Get Around Program” on June 16, 2025.
WHEREAS, City and Contractor wish to amend the Agreement effective ___________ to increase compensation by $200,000 for fiscal year 2025-2026 only.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties agree as follows:
1. Section 5 “Payment” of the Agreement is amended to read:
In consideration for the full performance of the services set forth in Exhibit A, CITY agrees to pay CONTRACTOR an amount of up to $450,000 for fiscal year 2025-2026, pursuant to rates stated in Exhibit B, attached and incorporated by reference. The City may amend the Agreement for two (2) one (1) year extensions; July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027 and July 1, 2027-June 30, 2028 for $250,000 each year, for a potential Agreement total of $950,000.
2. Exhibit B of the Agreement is amended to read:
All fees, taxes and services under this Agreement shall not exceed $450,000 for fiscal year 2025-2026. Compensation shall not exceed $250,0000 per fiscal year for 2026-2027 and 2027-2028, if the City exercises its option to extend the Agreement. Total compensation pursuant to this Agreement shall not exceed $950,000.
3. The remaining terms of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. [SIGNATURE PAGE FOLLOWS]
