CALL TO ORDER at 6:00 p.m.
Roll Call
Present: Mayor Loraine, Deputy Mayor Fernandez, Council Members: Cwirko-Godycki and Diaz Nash, Newsom AB 2449 Requests and Considerations for Meeting Participation by Teleconference due to Just Cause or Emergency Circumstances – there were no requests.
STUDY SESSION
1.Storm Drain Master Plan — Informational Update
Jimmy Vo, Senior Engineer and Dan Schaaf from Schaaf and Wheeler gave the presentation.
Public Comment: there were no speakers.
The Council expressed support for the proposed project priorities, use of stormwater fee revenues to support bonding for high-priority projects, and setting aside $250,000 annually to address minor ponding. The Council also supported continued coordination with private development and related community outreach efforts, including the launch of a public stormwater mapping tool. Staff was directed to return with bonding options and updated funding projections at a future meeting.
