AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE AGREEMENT
WITH CSG CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR
PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR
ON-CALL PUBLIC WORKS REVIEW SUPPORT SERVICES
($400,000 [Original Amount], $0 [Amendment No. 1], $200,000 [Amendment No.2], $200,000 [Amendment No.3])
This Amendment is made and entered into this day of _____________ by and between the CITY OF SAN MATEO, a municipal corporation existing under the laws of the State of California ("CITY"), and CSG Consultants, Inc., a corporation ("CONSULTANT").
WHEREAS, CITY and CONSULTANT entered into an Agreement for professional consultant services (“Agreement”) on November 17, 2023; and
WHEREAS, on May 27, 2025 Amendment No. 1 was executed, which extended the term of this Agreement to June 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, on August 27, 2025, Amendment No. 2 was executed, which increased the not-to- exceed amount by $200,000, for a new total Agreement amount of $600,000; and WHEREAS, CITY and CONSULTANT wish to amend the Agreement to extend the term by one additional year and to increase the Agreement by $200,000, for a revised total not-to-exceed amount of $800,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties agree as follows:
1. Section 4, “Term,” of the Agreement is amended to read:
“The services to be performed under this Agreement shall commence upon execution of the Agreement and be completed on June 30, 2027.”
2. Section 5, “Payment”, of the Agreement is amended to read:
“Payment shall be made by CITY only for services rendered and upon submission of payment request upon completion and CITY approval of the work performed. In consideration for the full performance of the services set forth in Exhibit A, CITY agrees to pay CONSULTANT in an amount not to exceed $800,000.00, pursuant to rates stated in Exhibit B to this Agreement, attached and incorporated by reference.”
3. The remaining terms of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. [SIGNATURE PAGE FOLLOWS]
