CITY OF SAN MATEO
RESOLUTION NO. ____ (2026)
ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR 303 BALDWIN AVENUE
WHEREAS, on January 29, 2021, the City Council approved the Subdivision Improvement Agreement for 303 Baldwin Avenue and authorized the Public Works Director to sign the agreement; and WHEREAS, the Subdivision Improvement Agreement addressed various public improvements and improvement security required as conditions of approval for the project and vesting tentative map approved under PA-2017-085; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has verified that all public improvements have been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff recommend formal acceptance of those improvements and release of the associated letters of credit; and
WHEREAS, the City will assume maintenance responsibilities of all public improvements except for the stormwater treatment measures, sidewalks, parklets, benches, trench drains, curb drains, bicycle racks, landscaping, and irrigation which will be maintained by the property owner.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA, HEREBY RESOLVES that:
1. This action is not a project subject to CEQA because it is an organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment. (CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5).)
2. The public improvements related to the Subdivision Improvement Agreement for 303 Baldwin Avenue dated January 26, 2021, between the City of San Mateo and 303 Baldwin, LP are accepted.
3. The Public Works Director is authorized to release the letters of credit associated with the subdivision improvement agreement.
