Current Staffing
Currently, 15 FTE and P/T employees
are assigned to Building 5 making up
the units of Code Enforcement,
Tobacco Unit, POP Unit, Community
Outreach, and Cadets.
These units are expected to expand as
growth and restructuring occur within
the next two years.
Due to lack of available office space in PD, selective units have been relocated to off-site space at 13831 San Pablo Ave, Building 5. This location is in process of being sold and is expected to unavailable in 2022.

Renovation of Old Fire Station 70
The New Fire Station 70 located at 1800 23rd St facilitated the Certificate of Acceptance to effectuate the transfer of the Former Station 70 Property located at 13928 San Pablo Ave to the City per the MOU. However, significant renovation is needed before staff can reasonably utilize as office space.
