RE: Support for Contra Costa County Building Electrification Retrofit Pilot Project for FY 2023 Non-Defense Congressionally Directed Spending Request

On behalf of the City of San Pablo, I write to convey our full support of Contra Costa County’s earmark request of $700,000 for its Building Electrification Retrofit Pilot Project.
In partnership, the proposed project will provide important resources to our community that are necessary to inform our local policy makers on options to consider when developing existing building electrification policies or programs to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The project will also help us meet our local, regio nal, and State climate goals while improving the health and safety of our residents.
