We are delighted to provide you with our design proposal for your Multipurpose Room A/V Upgrade.
PCD SOLUTION BUDGETARY PROPOSAL
After careful and deliberate consideration of your requirements, PCD is pleased to provide the following audiovisual solutions Proposal. The scope of work cited has been formulated specifically to meet your requirements and is based on AV engineering principles and reliable technology.
Project Overview/Narrative
This project includes the design and installation of a turnkey A/V system for the Multipurpose Room A/V system located at 1943 Church Lane, San Pablo, CA 94806.
MULTIPURPOSE ROOM – Display (Projector)
1. PCD will provide and install a single ceiling mounted video projector for video and computer presentations. The projector shall have a native resolution of WUXGA and a rated brightness of 5000 ANSI lumens.
2. PCD will provide and install a single ceiling mounted motorized projection screen. The screen shall be tab tensioned in a 16:9 widescreen format with a diagonal viewing surface of 161”. A low voltage interface shall be provided. The viewing area shall be matte white fabric with black backing.
a. The Customer is responsible for making sure that the above ceiling support structure is properly constructed to withstand the weight of the projector/screen with a safety factor of at least 5:1. PCD has the right to refuse to mount the projector and screen if the structure appears to not meet these requirements. All charges for required return trips by PCD due to the lack of proper structural support is the responsibility of the client.
b. The customer is responsible for providing required power.
Switching & Interfacing
1. PCD will provide and install an HDMI/VGA decora wall plate transmitter to extend video signal to a scaling receiver at the projector. The scaler will be set to the native resolution of the projector. Any media requiring HDCP compliance will be handled by the system. Any computer interface will provide EDID information to the connected PC and all digital video connections will support HDCP as applicable.
a. The Customer is responsible for all required power. This AV transmitter will require an AC power outlet at the wall and projector location.
b. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that there is a clear cable path from the transmitter at the wall to the receiver at the projector location.
Audio
1. PCD will provide and install a surface mounted speaker located on each side of the projection screen to support playback of program material and speech reinforcement.
a. The Customer is responsible for any needed patching and painting of the ceiling / walls.
2. PCD will provide and install an amplifier to power the room speakers.
3. PCD will provide and install Bluetooth and analog connections to support microphone, music and audio input into the system.
4. No Audio/Video Conferencing will be integrated into this system.
5. PCD will provide and install an audio mixer Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to support all the Multipurpose Room audio sources. The DSP will be configured to maximize audio quality for all applications.
6. PCD will provide and install two (2) wireless microphone systems integrated for voice reinforcement. These systems will have handheld type wireless microphones. Both microphones from the system can be utilized at the same time.
7. PCD will provide and install all low voltage wiring between the audio system components and the system headend.
a. The Customer is responsible for proving any required cable paths to the headend equipment.
Equipment Rack & Accessories
1. PCD will provide and install an equipment rack to be located on the wall at a location TBD, and provide specific A/V rack equipment. This equipment rack will house the Main Hall rack components.
2. PCD will provide and install a relay-controlled power conditioner in the A/V rack to protect all the racked equipment.
3. PCD will provide and install all low voltage wiring for all A/V system components.
a. The Customer is responsible for providing all AC power required at the rack location.
b. The Customer is responsible for proving all required low voltage cable paths in the A/V system.
c. The Customer is responsible for providing proper heat dissipation venting and/or any needed cooling for the equipment in this system.
d. PCD will provide powered venting utilizing thermostatically controlled quiet fans in enclosed spaces where convection cooling is not sufficient.
Control
1. PCD will provide and install one (1) wall mounted wired 10.1” color touch screen user interface. The supplied touch screen will allow for a single button selection to activate many necessary system functions.
a. The Customer is responsible for all network connections and routing.
2. PCD will provide and install one (1) POE+ network switch to facilitate power and control connections between system components.
SUMMARY BREAKDOWN
TOTAL EQUIPMENT COST: $28,485.54
Includes cable, connectors, hardware, switches, relays, terminal blocks, panels, etc., to ensure complete and operational system.
INSTALLATION: $12,597.23
On-site installation and wiring.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: $9,120.00
Includes design, engineering, project management, CAD, coordination and supervision, testing, checkout, owner training, etc. performed on the owner's premises. Also includes all fabrication, modification, assembly, pre-installation rack wiring, programming, warranties, etc.
DIRECT COSTS: $322.77
Includes non-equipment or labor costs, such as travel expenses, per diem, lift and vehicle rentals.
PROPOSAL (pricing valid for 30 days)
