NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE FOLLOWING VACANCIES EXIST ON THE FOLLOWING BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES:
CHILDHOOD OBESITY PREVENTION ADVISORY GROUP
(one [1] vacancy)
The City Council extends an invitation to any and all San Pablo residents (must reside within city limits) interested in volunteering for community service by appointment to one of the boards, commissions or committees specified above.
The functions of the Childhood Obesity Prevention Advisory Group (COPAG ) are to assist city staff with annual RFP/RFQ evaluation, contract and program administration with childhood obesity prevention contract ser vices and to make appropriate recommendations in collaboration with city staff to the City Council for contract award; meet periodically to share information on the City’s citywide childhood obesity prevention activities, contract services, programs and se rvices on a periodic as -needed basis. The Panel will meet on a quarterly basis at City Hall, or as-needed due to operational program administration requirements.
• Composition: five total members: three appointed from the former COPTF affiliated organizations; and two members from the community/general public previously affiliated with former COPTF membership. All community/general public appointments must meet a San Pablo residency requirement . [The vacancy seat the is available is a COPTF affiliated organization]
Application receipt deadline is September 2, 2020, and interviews before the City Council are expected to occur within weeks of the deadline.
