SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR

THIS SECOND AMENDM ENT TO AGREEMENT FOR SUTTER AVENUE
URBAN GREENING PHASE 1 PROJECT is entered into this 15
th day of August, 2022,
by and between the CITY OF SAN PABLO, a municipal corporation ("City") and GEOSYNTEC CONSULTANTS (“Consultant”).
R E C I T A L S
WHEREAS, on February 1, 2022, CITY and Consultant entered into an Agreement for engineering consultant services for the Sutter Avenue Urban Greening Phase 1 Project (“Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, on March 21, 2022, a First Amendment to the Agreement to Agreement for Sutter Avenue Urban Greening Phase 1 Project was entered into by the parties, modifying the terms of that Agreement related to Scope of Services and Compensation, adding the provision of additional hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and increasing compensation by $10,584, for a total compensation not to exceed $360,841; and
WHEREAS, the parties have agreed to further modify the terms of that Agreement related to Scope of Services and Compensation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES DO MUTUALLY AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES.
Section 1 of the Agreement, “Scope of Services,” is amended to add the following provision:
“Consultant shall provide additional topographic site survey and develop/optimize GSI facilities on 14
th Street as described in Consultant’s
proposal dated August 15, 2022, attached as Exhibit A to this Second Amendment to Agreement for Sutter Avenue Urban Greening Phase 1 Project.”
2. COMPENSATION. Section 2 of the Agreement, “Compensation,” is amended to include the following provision:
“CITY shall pay Consultant an additional Twenty-Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-One Dollars ($29,971) for a total compensation under this Agreement, as amended, not to exceed Three Hundred Ninety Thousand Eight Hundred Twelve Dollars ($390,812). “

3. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
