CITY OF SAN PABLO
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of San Pablo will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 6:00 pm via Zoom, to consider approving the following:
A request by Richmond Sanitary Service (RSS) for the City of San Pablo to establish increased maximum solid waste (trash, recycling, and organics) collection rates paid by customers in the City of San Pablo, effective January 1, 2023.
The City sets RSS’s maximum collection charges and West Contra Costa Integrated Waste Management Authority ( RecycleMore) sets the maximum post-collection charges. On November 10, 2022, RecycleMore’s Board of Directors approved the monthly post-collection charges set forth below, effective January 1, 2023.
On December 19, 2022, the City Council will consider whether to approve the proposed increased monthly collection rates listed below, which will increase current collection rates by 0.62% for residential, commercial, and industrial, effective January 1, 2023.

However, given the COVID-19 pandemic, City Council meetings and public hearings are currently being held virtually (online). Interested persons may submit written comments addressed to the City of San Pablo , 1000 Gateway Avenue, San Pablo, California 94806, prior to 6:00 pm on December 19, 2022.
