Hi All,
Happy 2023! Greeting from The Culinary Academy at Contra Costa College. Please allow us to share a big announcement!! The Culinary Academy at Contra Costa College will host its 14th Annual Food and Wine Event at CCC’s Aqua Terra Grill and Fireside Hall on Sunday, April 23, 2023. We would like to ask you to again contribute to the event by participating as a sponsor.
The Culinary Academy Department is one of several financially independent vocational programs at Contra Costa College committed to educating students. Monies raised by the Food and Wine Event provide additional funding necessary for our comprehensive program of study. Some of the funds raised are specially designated for culinary scholarships to study abroad. In 2022, fundraising efforts provided scholarships that allowed ten students to travel to Italy for a two-week culinary instructional experience. Students traveled to various regions of Italy to learn about its history and culture while also having daily opportunities to engage in hands-on cooking experiences.
Your participation in this year’s Food and Wine Event will greatly affect the quality of our student's educational experiences. Your contribution will provide many of our students with new opportunities that will benefit their education, training, and employment potential.
