• Composition: Five (5) total members:
❖ One youth/young adult member (16 -25 years old, with a preference to those enrolled in local health - related academic programs, i.e. Richmond High School Health Academy or Contra Costa College academic health programs);
❖ minimum of one content expert (with a background and/or demonstrated interested in public health, medicine, nutrition, and/or physical fitness);
❖ remaining three members (or less, if there are additional content experts) can be from the community/general public. Pre ference for community/general public appointments will be given to:
community professionals with a background in a health profession (medical, educational, nutrition, physical fitness, etc.) or a parent/caregiver with a child in San Pablo schools. All comm unity/general public appointments must meet a San Pablo residency requirement and/or work in San Pablo.
• Term: 1- and 2-year staggered terms: 1 -year term for youth and young adult member and 2 -year terms for content expert and community general public appointments. All appointments are subject to City Council appointment only.
