Every April, the National Association of REALTORS® commemorates the passage of the Fair Housing Act of 1968 with events and education to shine a light on housing discrimination and segregation. This year marks the 55th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act. For our members, Fair Housing Month signifies a recommitment to expanding equal access to
housing.
The Contra Costa Association of REALTOR® will be recognizing and celebrating Fair Housing Month this April and would like the City of San Pablo to partner with us in recognizing Fair Housing Month and ask the council to consider issuing a proclamation
recognizing Fair Housing Month.
I have attached a sample language to help, should the council approve this request.
