RESOLUTION 2023-###
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN PABLO AUTHORIZING A COMMUNITY CENTER RENTAL FEE WAIVER IN TH E AMOUNT OF $816 FOR CONTRA COSTA COLLEGE’S ANNUAL MANAGERIAL RETREAT.
WHEREAS, Major Policy Goals: Enhance Community Resilience and Build a Healthy Community are adopted policy items under the FY 2023 -25 Council Priority Workplan, effective May 1, 2023;
WHEREAS, this is not a project defined by CEQA;
WHEREAS, on September 1, 2023, the City Manager received a letter f rom Dr.
Kimberly R. Rogers, Contra Costa College President, requesting the waiver of rental fees for the use of the Community Hall at the San Pablo Community Center for the Annual Contra Costa College Managerial Retreat on September 29, 2023;
WHEREAS, the Contra Costa College is requesting to use the Community Hall for 7 hours;
WHEREAS, San Pablo City Council is requested to authorize a waiver of the $816 rental fee for Contra Costa College’s use of the Community Hall at the San Pablo Community Center;
WHEREAS, Contra Costa College will provide adequate liability insurance associated with the use of the facility and will responsible for the cost of a Building Attendant that is required to be present throughout the meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Pablo authorizes the fee waive r in the amount of $816 for the Contra Costa College Annual Managerial Retreat.
