RESOLUTION 2023-
RESOLUTION OF THE CI TY COUNCIL OF THE CI TY OF SAN PABLO APPROPRIATING $8,640 FROM FY 2023- 24 GENERAL FUND DES IGNATED
RESERVES (GFDR) - CITY FACILITY MAIN TENANCE AND ONE-TIME
IMPROVEMENTS TO POLICE DEPARTMEN T SPECIAL DEPARTMENT EXPENSES
ACCOUNT FOR REPAIR O F THE ELEVATOR WITHI N THE SAN PABLO POLICE
DEPARTMENT FACILITY
WHEREAS; on March 23, 2022, City entered into a Standard Preventative Maintenance Agreement with San Francisco Elevator Services, LLC., for maintenance of an elevator located at 1000 Gateway Avenue, San Pablo (March 2022 Agreement);
WHEREAS, in July 2023 the City and San Francisco Elevator Services, LLC terminated the March 2022 Agreement and entered into a new maintenance agreement with San Francisco Elevator Services, LLC for both the ongoing maintenance of the elevator located in the San Pablo City Hall at 1000 Gateway Avenue, San Pablo, as well as routine inspection services on an additional elevator located at the San Pablo Police Department at 13880 San Pablo Avenue, San Pablo;
WHEREAS, the elevator at the San Pablo Police Department (PD E levator) is in need of repair to replace the hydraulic valve and filter oil, and San Francisco Elevator has proposed costs of this repair to be $8,640;
WHEREAS, Staff proposes repair costs to the PD E levator be funded by the FY 2023-24 General Fund Designated Reserve (GFDR) – City Facility Maintenance and One- Time Improvements line item;
WHEREAS, Staff requests an appropriation in the amount of $8,640 from GFDR - City Facility Maintenance and One- Time Improvements to Police Department Special Department Expenses Account 100-2110-44000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Pablo hereby appropriates $8,640 from FY 2023-24 GFDR - City Facility Maintenance and One-Time Improvements to Police Department Professional Services Expense Account 100-2110-44000 for the repair of the PD Elevator within the San Pablo Police Department.
