RESOLUTION 2023-####
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN PABLO AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH OPENGOV , INC. FOR
THE SUBSCRIPTION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND HOSTING OF CITYWIDE
ENTERPRISE ASSET MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THREE YEARS FOR A TOTAL COST OF $144,125.
WHEREAS, the City of San Pablo Public Works Department Maintenance Division has been utilizing the Cart egraph software for over 10 years to track maintenance work details and save infrastructure asset data; and
WHEREAS, in July 2014, the City of San Pablo executed a 1-year contract with Cartegraph Systems, LLC, to provide Citywide subscription and hosting of tracking of work details and infrastructure asset data in the City of San Pablo, with subsequent contract renewals every year between 2015 and 2022; and WHEREAS, Cartegraph Systems’ subscription fees increased each year, with a lower annual rate of increase for multi-year contracts; and WHEREAS, staff recommends the City enter into a three-year agreement with OpenGov. Inc., which recently acquired the Cartegraph software, for Enterprise Asset Management software to continue to improve maintenance work efficiency and satisfy regulatory requirements; and
WHEREAS, the total contract cost is $144,124.56, and funding for the 3- year contract for the subscription and hosting of OpenGov ’s Enterprise Asset Management software is available from the Public Works Operating Budgets for Streets Maintenance (200-3710-43600) and Street Lighting and Landscape Assessment District (237- 3610- 43600).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Pablo hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with OpenGov, Inc. for the subscription and hosting of Citywide Enterprise A sset Management services software and support services, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney that does not substantially alter the City’s rights or responsibilities from what is set forth in the attached draft agreement, to provide Enterprise Asset Management software and support services in an amount not to exceed $144,124.56 for the three year term.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the foregoing recitations are true and correct and are included herein by reference as findings.
