FIELD FEE WAIVER REQUEST
SAN PABLO UNITED YOUTH SOCCER CLUB
Request to waive fees for the Winter / Spring 2024 season Nov. 14, 2023, Rafael Torres, President of the San Pablo United Youth Soccer Club (SPUYSC), submitted a letter to the City of San Pablo requesting the waiver of fees for the Rumrill Sports Park and Concession.

• Jan. 3, 2024 – June 30, 2024
• Monday/Wednesday 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
• Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Saturdays and Sundays 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND
• SPUYSC is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization dedicated to the youth and families in the City of San Pablo and surrounding communities • Provide the opportunity to play soccer to approximately 200 boys and girls ages 3 to 18 years.
• All insurance certificates are current
• Once SPUYSC registration has closed and final rosters have been received, staff will review and report the residency findings to the City Manager.

$50 application fee
Conditions of fee waiver:
• Have a representative participate in at least two major City events • Provide City of San Pablo residents a reduced registration rate compared to non-residents
• A majority of participants registered in SPUYSC’s 2024 Winter/Spring season program must be City of San Pablo residents.
Staff is seeking a recommendation that the CSD Standing Committee support this item and make a recommendation to City Council for formal consideration.
