RESOLUTION 2024- ###
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN PABLO AFFIRMING
RECOMMENDED APPOINTMENTS BY MAYOR PATRICIA PONCE OF INDIVIDUAL
CITY COUNCIL STANDING COMMITTEE AND REGIONAL/LOCAL ASSIGNMENTS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2024 PURSUANT TO SAN PABLO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2.16.070
WHEREAS, all City Councilmember assignments to newly established Temporary Ad-Hoc Sub committees, Standing C ommittees, and Regional/Loc al Bodies for the upcoming Calendar Year 2024 (CY 2024) must be affirmed in accordance with the requirements of San Pablo Municipal Code (SPMC) Section 2.16.070;
WHEREAS, per SPMC Section 2.16.070, Mayor Patricia Ponce has made all recommendations for the appointment of City Councilmembers to said City Coun cil Temporary Ad -Hoc Subcommittees, City Council Standing Committees , and Regional/Local Bodies for CY 2024. As listed under Exhibits A and B attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, following City Council deliberation, the City Council agrees to the establishment and re-constitution of all City Council Temporary Ad-Hoc Subcommittees, and the Standing Committee and Regional/Local body changes listed under Exhibit s A and B for CY 2024.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of San Pablo authorizes the following:
1. The Mayor has made all necessary recommendations for appointments of individual City Councilmembers to designated City Council Temporary Ad -Hoc Subcommittees, Standing Committees, and Regional/Local bodies for C Y 2024, as listed under Exhibits A and B attached hereto;
2. The City Council affirms establishment of all City Council Temporary Ad -Hoc Subcommittees, Standing Committee, and Regional/Local bodies as listed under Exhibit A and B for CY 2024, attached hereto; and
3. The City Council affirms all individual City Councilmember appointments by this Resolution t o Temp orary Ad -Hoc Sub committees, Standing Committees , and Regional/Local bodies established for CY 2024 pursuant to the requirements of SPMC Section 2.16.070.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED t hat the foregoing recitations are true and correct, and are included herein by reference as findings.
