FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT TO LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO AND TELECOM LAW FIRM PC
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT is effective this 15th day of February, 2024, by and between the CITY OF SAN PABLO, a municipal corporation ("City") and Telecom Law Firm PC (“Counsel”).
R E C I T A L S
WHEREAS, on January 17th, City and Counsel entered into a Legal Services Agreement (“Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, the parties have agreed to modify the terms of that Agreement related to Section 2, “Compensation,” Section 7.6, “COVID-19 Pandemic,” and Section 10.9, “Notices;”
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES DO MUTUALLY AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
1. COMPENSATION. Section 2 of the Agreement, “Compensation,” is amended to include the following provision:
“CITY shall pay Counsel up to an additional Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), for a total compensation not to exceed Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000).”
2. COVID-19 PANDEMIC. Section 7.6 of the Agreement, “COVID-19 Pandemic,” is hereby amended and restated in its entirety to read as follows:
“All City of San Pablo programs and services must be in compliance with current health orders issued by Contra Costa County Health Services at:
https://www.coronavirus.cchealth.org/health-orders. Consultant shall comply with these requirements and contact City staff immediately if there is any issue with compliance. In addition, the City requires all contractors/consultants providing services at City facilities or City worksites to comply with all City’s current COVID policies on-site as they may be amended from time to time.”
3. NOTICES. Section 10.9 of the Agreement, “Notices,” shall be amended to include the following provision:

4. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
