RESOLUTION 2024-___
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN PABLO AMENDING RESOLUTION 2019 -021 AND APPROVING SALARY SCHEDULES EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1, 2019 FOR THE CHIEF OF POLICE ; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO IMPLEMENT THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS AND
CHANGES
WHEREAS, on February 4, 2019, the City Council adopted Resolution 2019- 021, making various amendments to the City’s classification and compensation plan and approving executive management terms and conditions of employment for executive management employees, effective February 1, 2019;
WHEREAS, as a result of the comprehensive review of the City’s Classification and Compensation Plan, Resolution 2019-021, among other things, added a 5% Management Incentive for the Chief of Police classification, effective February 1, 2019;
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby amends Resolution 2019-021 to eliminate the 5% Management Incentive for the Chief of Police classification, effective retroactive to February 1, 2019;
WHEREAS, all other provisions of Resolution 2019-021 shall remain in full force and effect, except as superseded by this Resolution or other resolutions of the City Council;
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby increases the payrate for the Chief of Police classification by 5%, effective February 1, 2019;
WHEREAS, the s alary schedules for the impacted period have been revised for submission to the City Council;
WHEREAS, the proposed salary schedules are attached as Exhibits [A-F];
WHEREAS, the anticipated cost of the modifications is cost neutral; and
WHEREAS, these amendments are not a project as defined by CEQA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Pablo hereby approves the amendments to Resolution 2019-021 and the following salary schedules for 2019 through 2024:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager or designee is hereby authorized to implement these changes to the Plan.
