The meeting was called to order at 5:01 p.m. in the Council Chambers.

1. SCHEDULED PUBLIC HEARING FOR PRESENTATION OF THE CITY OF SAN PABLO PRELIMINARY DRAFT FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 AND FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 BIENNIAL (TWO-YEAR) OPERATING BUDGET AND CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET PER SAN PABLO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTIONS 3.04.220, 3.04.240 AND 3.04.250
CEQA: The proposed item is not a project as defined by CEQA. 24-170
The City Council Meeting recessed at 7:11 p.m. and reconvened at 7:18 p.m.
The public hearing opened at 7:18 p.m.
No Public Comment was received.
The public hearing closed at 7:18 p.m.
It was moved by Councilmember Pineda, seconded by Councilmember Xavier, and approved by vote of those present, to:
(1) Receive presentation; and
(2) Hold Scheduled Public Hearing; and
(3) Direct the City Manager via minute order to prepare and finalize Resolutions for adoption of the FY 2024-25 and FY 2025-26 Biennial (Two-Year) Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program Budget at the May 20, 2024 City Council meeting for Consent Calendar approval action; and (4) Authorize the City Manager via minute order to pursue additional fiscal and revenue sources and operational efficiencies during FY 2024-25 and FY 2025-26 periods.
The motion passed as follows:
Aye: Pineda, Xavier, Pabon-Alvarado, Cruz, and Ponce5 - A motion was made by Councilmember Pabon -Alvarado, seconded by Vice Mayor Cruz, and passed by vote of those present for direction to place on the next City Council meeting for a request and issuance of a Proclamation recognizing National Day of Prayer.
The motion carried by the following vote:
