RESOLUTION 2024-###
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN PABLO AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
WITH CONSTANCE RIEDINGER DBA RIEDINGER CONSULTING FOR FORENSIC
SCHEDULING CONSULTING SERVICES, INCREASING MAXIMUM COMPENSATION BY $25,000, FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $75,000
WHEREAS, effective November 15, 2023, City and Riedinger Consulting entered into an Agreement for the provision of Phase I forensic scheduling consulting services supporting legal defense of claims in an amount not to exceed $25,000;
WHEREAS, effective February 15, 2024, City and Riedinger Consulting entered into a First Amendment to that Agreement, adding Phase II services in an amount not to exceed $25,000, for a total compensation under the Agreement as amended not to exceed $50,000;
WHEREAS, the parties mutually agree to further amend the Agreement for consulting services between City and Riedinger Consulting via a Second Amendment to increase maximum compensation $25,000, for a total compensation not to exceed $75,000, to provide for additional forensic scheduling analysis in support of the City’s legal defenses, up to and including mediation of claims;
WHEREAS, the additional $25,000 authorized by the Second Amendment shall be funded by the Public Works project account (320-0700-43604-GEN-423); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Pablo hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a S econd Amendment to the Agreement with C onstance Riedinger dba Riedinger Consulting for forensic scheduling consulting services, increasing maximum compensation by $25,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $75,000.
BE IT FURT HER RESOLVED that the foregoing recitations are true and correct and are included herein by reference as findings.
