PRESENTATION OF THE 2024 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENT24-2551.
Recommendation: Receive presentation; Update on National Night Out event planned for Tuesday, August 6th, 2024.
ITEMS FOR COMMITTEE ACTION:
PRESENTATION OF THE VEHICLE ACQUISITION PLAN (FY 2024-25)

Recommendation: Receive presentation; Recommend to the City Council an appropriation of $581,828 from Asset & Vehicle Replacement Internal Service Fund (ISF Fund:140) to acquire and procure designated fleet vehicles before June 30, 2025 for the Police and Public Works Departments to the City Council for approval.
PRESENTATION OF THE PUBLIC SAFETY CAMERA UPDATE24-2533.
Recommendation: Receive presentation on Public Safety Equipment replacement and integration of Flock Safety technology. Recommend to the City Council an authorization to install (12) Flock Safety ALPR cameras at an estimated cost of $84,000 which is within the Police Department FY 2024-25 & FY 2025-26 budget.

Recommendation: Receive presentation; Recommend approval for to the City Council to allocate and appropriate a total of $100,000 from Supplemental Law Enforcement Services grant funding (SLESF) to initiate a public agency receivership program to address substandard and dilapidated housing issues through Code Enforcement
PRESENTATION AND PROGRAM UPDATE OF THE SOUNDTHINKING,
INC. (FORMERLY SHOTSPOTTER, INC.) CONTRACT (FY 2024-25) 24-2565.
Recommendation: Receive presentation; recommend approval to the City Council to authorize a 3-year contract with Soundthinking, Inc. at an estimated cost of $406,000 which is budgeted within the Police Department FY 2024-25 & FY 2025-26 departmental budget.
