COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING
JO ANNA RODRIGUEZ
San Pablo Police Services Technician
On the Occasion of Her Retirement – December 30, 2024
WHEREAS, Jo Anna Rodriguez began her service as a full-time employee with the City of San Pablo as a Finance Department Fiscal Clerk on February 12, 1992;
WHEREAS, on July 1, 2007, Jo Anna Rodriguez transferred to the Police Department as an Administrative Clerk where she was assigned to the Police Department’s Records Unit;
WHEREAS, on September 1, 2020; Jo Anna Rodriguez was promoted to Police Services Technician where she was assigned to the Police Department’s Code Enforcement Unit. In June of 2022, Jo Anna completed the required courses and exhibited exemplary knowledge and dedication to the profession to become a certified code enforcement officer;
WHEREAS, over the course of her career, Jo Anna Rodriguez consistently collaborated with her peers throughout every City Department and is best described as a team player, mentor, and leader. Jo Anna prides herself on educating the community to take personal part in making San Pablo a positive and blight free place to live.
WHEREAS, Jo Anna Rodriguez has demonstrated her commitment to the City and the San Pablo Police Department by providing excellent community service throughout her distinguished 32-year career.
She has been the recipient of numerous Chief commendations and letters of appreciation from the Community of San Pablo.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Arturo Cruz, Mayor of the City of San Pablo, on behalf of the City Council, extend our deepest appreciation to Jo Anna Rodriguez for thirty-two years of dedicated service to the San Pablo Police Department, the City of San Pablo and San Pablo Community and wish her the best in her well-deserved retirement.
