PURPOSE/BACKGROUND
• SPUYSC is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization dedicated to the youth and families in the City of San Pablo and surrounding communities
• Provide the opportunity to play soccer to approximately 450 boys and girls ages 3 to 18 years.
• All insurance certificates are current
• The Winter / Spring 2025 season had 450 participations and 51% of them were San Pablo residents.

Conditions of fee waiver:
• Have a representative participate in at least two major City events • Provide City of San Pablo residents a reduced registration rate compared to non- residents
• A majority of participants registered with SPUYSC’s programs must be City of San Pablo residents.

Request to waive fees for the Summer / Fall 2025 season for the San Pablo to use the Davis Park Multi-Use and Mini Sports Fields and the Davis Park Concession.

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND
• SPCYA offers a diverse youth football and cheerleading program that provides approximately 100 San Pablo youth the ability to travel to numerous cities and compete against various football and cheerleading teams.
• Non-profit partner Lacy Community Resources Foundation (LCRF) • LCRF’s 501(c)(3) status is in good standing
• All insurance certificates are current
• Once SP Baseball registration has closed and final rosters have been received, staff will review and report the residency findings to the City Manager.
