Every March, we celebrate RED CROSS MONTH to honor the contributions of the American Red Cross and encourage community involvement in humanitarian efforts. The observance has a rich history dating back to 1943 when President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared March as a time to recognize the organization’s vital role in helping those in need.
Today, Red Cross Month is celebrated nationwide through local proclamations, and landmarks illuminating in red.
Please let me know if you're able to place us on your March agenda. I have attached our Proclamation language.
