FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF SAN PABLO AND JARVIS FAY, LLP
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO AND JARVIS FAY, LLP is effective the 15th day of April, 2026, by and between the CITY OF SAN PABLO, a municipal corporation ("City") and Jarvis Fay, LLP (“Counsel”).
R E C I T A L S
WHEREAS, effective July 1, 2025, CITY and Consultant entered into an Agreement for the provision of legal services to the City in the areas of general municipal law, as particular assignments are given by the City Attorney, which may be given orally and then confirmed in writing (“Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, the parties have agreed to modify the terms of that Agreement related to maximum compensation under the Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES DO MUTUALLY AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
1. COMPENSATION. Section 2 of the Agreement, “Compensation,” is amended to include the following provision:
“For services rendered in accordance with the terms of the Agreement, City shall pay Counsel up to an additional Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000), for a total compensation under this Agreement not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000).”
2. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
