3. CONSIDER REPEAL OF THE RENTAL REGISTRY ORDINANCE IN
PREPARATION FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROPOSED RENT
REVIEW ORDINANCE AND POLICY/PROGRAM

A motion was made by Vice Chair Ponce, seconded by Chair Cruz, to (1) Receive Presentation and; (2) Recommend Ordinance rescinding the Rent Registry to the City Council for formal consideration and approval; and (3) Continue to prepare and draft the New Rental Review Ordinance and Program pursuant to FY 2025-27 Council Priority Workplan Amendment # 2 approved on 3/30/26 per Reso. #2026-041. The motion carried by the following vote:

4. CONSIDER A RETAIL CANNABIS COMMUNITY BENEFIT PROGRAM
