MEDICAL TRIP PILOT OUTCOMES
Outcomes
• Dates: August 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025.
• Booked 13 trips and completed 12 round trips serving 4 total customers. • Total cost $12,000
Information Collected
• This initial need was identified through rider feedback. The feedback expressed more of a need than was actual. • Purpose of a pilot is not only to provide service but to gather data and further define needs • This pilot met its objectives of data gathering
• Need more data on types of services offered at the Martinez Medical Center and the frequency of need of the patients.
Recommendations
• Collect data from medical providers on patient volume, travel patterns, and zip code distributionto better understand demand and improve potential future service design
• Expand service coverage to a broader West County area • Explore partnerships with TNCs to provide more flexible service • Coordinate with neighboring jurisdictions such as El Cerrito and Richmond to develop a regional approach • Investigate Medi-Cal reimbursement opportunities

SAN PABLO COWBOYS YOUTH SPORTS
UPDATE
Merger with Richmond Steelers
• Staff received a letter informing us that the San Pablo Cowboys and the Richmond Steelers have combined forces for the Fall Football Season in the AYF (American Youth Football) league, in an effort to combat reduced enrollment in both programs.
• In recent years, both programs have experienced a decline in enrollment. Rather than allow the decline to limit opportunities for young athletes, they decided to work together and combine their resources, experienced coaches, and dedicated families and athletes for the upcoming fall football season. • The San Pablo Cowboys will continue their football program beyond the fall season, including a spring football and seven on 7 football.
• The San Pablo Cowboys Youth Association and the San Pablo Baseball Association will remain committed to providing positive athletic opportunities and building future leaders in the community of San Pablo. • They will remain with the same fiscal sponsor, Newlife Movement, and all insurance documents are current.
