I am writing in support of staff's recommendation on the Third Street Rehab Project, and applaud the city for moving forward with this important project. The two-way bicycle facility on the south side of Second Street will greatly increase accessibility for people on bicycles, especially for those in the Gerstle Park neighborhood traveling to and from San Anselmo.
I especially commend the willingness to reallocate street space from on-street parking to a safe and separated, all-ages-and-abilities bicycle facility.
