My name is Chris Untermann and I own the West End Nursery at 1938 Fifth Avenue in San Rafael (APN 010-174-44). I'm writing to you to request that our property be included as a designated site in the San Rafael Housing Element. Our 1.5 acre parcel is level, easily accessible, and located in the great Sun Valley neighborhood. This would be an ideal site for an infill multifamily housing project that could provide much-needed housing in a way that complements the neighborhood. Also, I have serious interest in developing the property, which I know is a critical factor for the State in the review of housing elements.
