Love the idea of recruiting year round.
I support the following position. I think recruiting year round is much more inclusive and maintaining the applications and contacting members is a fantastic idea! Ideally, the community could apply whenever they would like and we would let them know boards and commissions exist by using our same recruitment efforts, just more frequently. In addition, staff spends a lot of time throughout the year scheduling interviews, recruiting for expected and unexpected vacancies, and managing interviews, and changing this process would free up time to work on other projects that posit
