Was it a holiday party conflict? Regardless of the reason, the optics sure look like groups trying to make San Rafael safer are being silenced.
How does pedestrian and bicycle safety in San Rafael compare to other towns in Marin like Fairfax? Does San Rafael have less budget, or are the priorities just different? Also how is it that the emails of the "angry mobs" and posts on nextdoor for things like faster driving speeds and resistance against bike lanes are often winning the choices of the politicians? Is it purely that there are less of us fighting for safety?"
