Thank you for your good work at today's initial Council budget goal-setting meeting. I appreciate the prioritizing process as you look at initiating and continuing many important City projects.
Our group encourages you to continue the good work you have begun addressing the General Plan tree policies and programs. This includes updating and implementing the Tree Ordinance, increasing the tree canopy (C-1.16A), tree preservation (C-1.17A), finalizing the tree inventory (CDP-3.5B), seeking State funding and a consultant team in 2024 to initiate the comprehensive Tree Master Plan (CDP-3.5A) in 2024.
