Subject: Homeless encampment at City Hall and Donwtown Library

To the Esteemed Mayor and to the Chief of Police of San Rafael, Now that Martin vs. Boise is no longer in effect, and the Governor of the State of Claifornia has ordered the removal of illegal homeless encampments throughout the state, I am writing to encourage you to fulfill your obligations to the citizens of this town and remove the illegal encampments at San Rafael City Hall.

I live across the street, and my family and everyone in my building are routinely disturbed day and night by their presence.

The homeless "residents" engage in fighting and illegal activity and spread trash and use drugs at all hours. My child and my wife feel unsafe using the Downtown Library lawn, where there is another illegal encampment.

Do your job and remove these blights from our community. Your tolerance of them is a grave disservice to all of us who work hard to live in a nice place.
